Premier Doug Ford’s daily coronavirus press conferences took a wild turn on Friday.
After telling Ontarian residents that “times are tough” and that his heart is broken because of the endless lockdown measures he’s enforced, Ford instructed his staff to bring out a 6-pack of Loblaw’s No-Name Beer.
After downing one beer, Ford smirked at the camera and asked, “want to see me do more?”
Health Minister Christine Elliott and Finance Minister Rod Phillips cheered on the Premier’s rambunctious behaviour.
“Chug! Chug! Chug!” the small group in the room yelled as the Premier of Ontario finished all 6 beers.
“This one’s for you, Ontario!” Ford said before belching loudly and started taking questions from reporters.
“…What just happened?” Brian Smith from CP24 asked the Premier.
Clearly intoxicated, the Premier flipped the reporter off as the broadcast quickly went off the air.
Latest polls reveal the Conservatives in Ontario are enjoying a comfortable 7 point lead.
